Plein Air Convention, April 7-11

by Sarah Judson February 24, 2014

The third annual Plein Air Convention, in Monterey/Carmel California, is less than six weeks away, and this Friday is your last chance to use the 2-payment plan. New this year are the full-time Water Media Track, the Pastel Track and the Art Showcase, where participants and instructors can exhibit and sell their work to the public. More than seventy artist and speakers will be there for you to meet and paint with. Here is the daily schedule, from the Plein Air Basics course on Monday morning, to the last painting session at Fisherman's Wharf all day on Friday. The helpful FAQ page has answers to questions about what to expect, including traveling with art supplies. Check the long list of organizations on the left hand side of the website to see if you qualify for a group discount, and also see the long list of sponsors who will be there to provide supplies.
