Florida's Fortotten Coast Plein Air Paint-Out, 2011

Preparations are under way in Apalachicola, Florida (just southwest of Tallahassee and the Apalachicola National Forest) for the sixth annual Forgotten Coast Plein Air Invitational, to be held May 13-22. There are 20 invited artists who will offer demos, workshops, exhibits and sales. On Saturday, May 14th, the public is invited to participate in the Quick Draw on Mexico Beach. There is also Student Art Day, May 18, at the newly opened Apalachicola National Estuary Reserve in Eastpoint, Plein Air “TGIF”, May 20, on the docks in Apalachicola’s Riverfront Park, the Grand Patron’s Party, May 21, at the Wetroom on Reid Avenue in Port St. Joe and Art in the Afternoon, May 22, a family activity to close the event.
